Following in the footsteps of Street Fighter 6, and Mortal Kombat One (known as that thereafter by this writer), Bandai Namco has revealed they too will be having a few beta tests in July for Tekken 8. The test will allow you to test the networking features via head to head competition, and yes, full cross play. You will get 16 characters to test out, which is bigger than any other beta test from the new fighting generation. Jin, Kazuya, Jun, Paul, Law, King, Lars, Jack 8, Xiaoyu, Nina, Leroy, Lili, Asuka, Hwoarang, and Bryan are all here, as well as 5 stages.
Week one (July 21st, 1a PDT to July 24th 12a PDT) will be Playstation 5 only, and the second week (July 28th to July 31st, same times) will include Xbox Series and PC. The ante up is that you do NOT have to have Xbox Live Gold, or Playstation Plus to play online.
