With the previous open Beta in the bag and lessons learned, Blizzard has one last opportunity on the calendar to jump in to Diablo IV before the game's official release. The Server Slam weekend is essentially a stress test for all platforms: PS4/5, Xbox One/X|S, and PC. The slam will cover both local couch co-op, as well as cross-platform online, incorporate all the new changes from those lessons learned, and offer a few unique rewards:
Character progression from the previous Beta will not carry over, so take this as an opportunity to try a new class, like maybe the Druid who just had their class trailer release and is embedded below. Playing the Server Slam weekend will let you explore the entirety of the Fractured Peaks covering the game's Prologue and Act 1; let you level to a max level of 20; visit the town of Kyovashad for gear and access to your Stash; check out Quests, World Events, and Dungeons for loot; and give you a crack at the World Boss, Ashava.
The Diablo IV Server Slam weekend runs from 12pm PDT May 12th to 12pm PDT May 14th. The full game releases June 6th. More details on Server Slam can be found on the official blog.
