Horror game studio Gun Interactive has announced that its asymmetrical multiplayer take on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will launch on August 18th for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It is also releasing day one on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC.
Gun and co-developer Sumo Nottingham are also hosting a technical playtest for the game on May 25th, for which they will share additional details on in the coming weeks. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a 3v4 game of cat-and-mouse with players controlling either the Victims or members of the Slaughter Family, each with their own unique abilities. It looks intense, perhaps too intense for me, but I wish you far braver souls well on your journey.
