Simulation specialists astragon Entertainment and developer stillalive studios are bringing Bus Simulator 21 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 23rd. The current-gen versions will feature 4K resolution, and support for the DualSense controller’s haptics and adaptive triggers. If you already own the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade free of charge, which is always appreciated. The game is also being made available for the first time on the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store, with crossplay available across PC versions.
Beyond just the usual last-to-current-gen upgrades, this new update will also include a new career mode that opens up progression, an official map expansion, new orders, and more. For those looking to get everything all in one stop, a Gold Edition will be available at release that includes the base game and all released DLC. If this shapes up well, I just might punch my ticket to ride.
