Strategy fans with some time on their hands might want to check out the new Sins of a Solar Empire beta Star Dock is set to release on Thursday.  You do have to pre-order the game but if you're a fan of the Galactic Civilization series you owe it to yourself to check out this excellent 4X space game.  I spent some quality time with the first beta and was pretty impressed with what I've seen.  Check out the official site for screenshots of this very good strategy game.
