NHL 08 character creation shots shown off

The Blue Jackets announced they were raising ticket prices today which can only mean that the upcoming season and video games are just around the corner.  EA released some new screenshots and a developer video that show off the new NHL 08 character creation system in the game.  I'm looking forward to the game and it looks like some of your equipment (like sticks and pads) will now directly influence how your players play.
