Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise is heading to PlayStation and Xbox consoles on January 20th, 2023, according to website Insider Gaming. Additionally, a new expansion for the smash-hit title is also reportedly launching next Spring, and a release straight onto Xbox Game Pass is allegedly in the cards. On current-gen systems, the game is believed to support 4K resolution, 60 frames-per-second, and 3D audio.
Monster Hunter Rise first released on Nintendo Switch in March of last year, and was followed by a move to PC in January earlier this year. Our Editor-in-Chief loved it when he reviewed it on Switch last year, and it is widely held as one the system's best titles.
I’ve never understood the appeal of Monster Hunter, but I admit to being morbidly curious now that it appears to be making the jump to where I play.
