Publisher Electronic Arts announced today that it has struck a long-term partnership with Marvel to develop three new action adventure games for consoles and PC.
Each game will tell an original story that connects to the larger Marvel universe, and the first title is a single-player, third-person Iron Man game from developer Motive Studios. The project is being led by Olivier Proulx, who previously worked on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy at Eidos-Montreal.
As for what the other Marvel projects could be, earlier this year, Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb reported that EA is also developing a single-player Black Panther game. The title is rumored to be in development at a new Seattle-based studio led by Kevin Stephens, the former vice president and studio head at Monolith Productions, the team behind the Middle Earth games.
