The city of London police announced they have arrested a 17-year-old in relation to the massive Grand Theft Auto 6 and Rockstar Games hack that occurred last weekend. He was charged with two counts of breach of bail and two counts of computer misuse.

Authorities are referring to the hacker only as “A.K.” due to his age, according to journalist Matthew Keys, who also reported that the teenager is believed to be associated with a hacking group called Lapsus$.

Ride-share company Uber was also the victim of a major hack last week, which they said in a statement they believed to be the work of Lapsus$. Keys reported that authorities believe the British teen is responsible for both hacks and that additional arrests are expected:

“A.K. is also believed to be the mastermind behind an attack that targeted Uber Technologies, in which he allegedly obtained a contractor’s username and password to gain access to some services that the ride-sharing company used,” Keys’ source said.

“A law enforcement source said at least two other people are believed to be involved in the attack against Rockstar and Uber, and additional arrests are expected.”

The Grand Theft Auto 6 hack was one of the largest, if not the largest, leak in video game history after approximately 90 videos of an early Alpha build were obtained and released by the hacker. On Monday, developer Rockstar Games released a statement acknowledging the security breach and that development on the game would continue uninterrupted.
