Electronic Arts announced that their Montreal-based developer Motive Studio is developing an Iron Man game in collaboration with Marvel Games. The new project is a single-player, third-person, action-adventure title that is currently in pre-production. Development is being led by Olivier Proulx, who previously worked on Eidos Montreal’s Guardians of the Galaxy game. EA said the Iron Man project is the first of several projects being developed in a new partnership with Marvel.
Earlier in the year, Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb claimed that EA is developing a single-player, open-world Black Panther game led by former Monolith Productions chief Kevin Stephens. EA Motive, the studio behind the Iron Man project, is currently working on the remake of Dead Space, which is releasing on January 27th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
