Team Ninja open-world action RPG Rise of the Ronin announced for PS5, coming in 2024
Developer Team Ninja and publisher Koei Tecmo announced open-world action RPG Rise of the Ronin, coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 on console in 2024. Rise of the Ronin is set in late 19th century Japan as the island nation struggles with oppressive rulers, western influence, and a civil war between the Tokugawa Shogunate and Anti-Shogunate factions.
Gameplay will feature the signature combat Team Ninja is well-known for, with both Katanas and firearms available to players. Beyond the combat, players can expect a deep story where every decision matters, full of characters with their own motivations that you can choose to side with or against.
