During today's PlayStation State of Play, the long awaited Tekken 8 has been announced for the PlayStation 5. We got a cinematic gameplay trailer featuring a battle between the iconic father son pair Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima.
Tekken is a long running Japanese action fighting series centered around competitive arcade style fighting developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Tekken 8 will be eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series.
There is currently no release date for Tekken 8 but stay tuned for more information. Blood will be shed and punches will be thrown! The graphics look simply insane...
More information can be found on the newest post from the PlayStation Blog. Executive Producer and Director of Bandai Namco Studio Katsuhiro Harada explains how the trailer was not pre-rendered but instead captured in Story Mode, and runs at 60 frames per second.
