Turn-based strategy game Hard West 2 is launching for PC on August 4, 2022. A supernatural twist is spun on this classic western, “where legends tell of an elusive ghost train with a bounty of gold for the taking. Take control of a supernatural posse and catch the mysterious Ghost Train. Outsmart, outcheat and outgun your enemies in this turn-based tactics game set in a Wild West world where nothing is as it seems.” The latest trailer shows off not just human but supernatural adversaries you’ll encounter, like the curse-casting Shadow Blackeart and the toxin-barfing Demon Hellspawn. In Hard West you play as Gin Carter, a man looking for the next big score. That’s when you hear a rumor of the Ghost Train, and it’s loaded with a pile full of federal backed gold. You’ll need to form a posse, find some weapons, and board the train. But all is not as it seems.
The voice cast alone might make Hard West worth your time. Voice talents of Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), Darien Sills-Evans (Days Gone, League of Legends) and Adam Gifford (The Colony, Batman: Hush) are a handful of voices you’ll hear.
