Square Enix announced a new life simulator role playing game today at the Nintendo Direct mini, titled Harvestella. The beautiful concept art is by Isamu Kamikokuryo from Final Fantasy XII and the melodic soundtrack is from Go Shiina from the Tales series.
Harvestella is set in a world where four crystals called "Seaslight" determine the stability between the four seasons. Abnormalities begin to appear, creating the season of death called "Quietus". Crops start to wither and people cannot venture outside.
As the player, you will grow and tend to your crops, using ingredients to cook and craft. You get to go fishing and interact with different townsfolk, and even get an occupation ranging from Shadow Walker to Mage. Embark on dungeon quests with your party to discover the truth about what is causing the "Quietus".
Harvestella is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC on November 4, 2022.
