After the success of the re-release of the original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, it only makes sense to remaster the sequel and bring it to current gen consoles. This summer Interplay and Wizards of the Coast have announced that a remastered version of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II will be hitting Steam, the Nintendo Switch, and all PlayStation and Xbox systems later this summer. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II will feature five playable classes (barbarian, monk, necromancer, rogue, and cleric), four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and extreme), dozens of locations, and many traps and monsters that players will have to fight through. All versions will support co-op play while the Steam version will also support Remote Play and is verified on Steamdeck.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II can now be wishlisted on Steam with store links for Microsoft, Nintendo, PlayStation, GOG, and Epic Games going live soon.
