GN staffroom favorite Devolver Digital's latest brainchild Card Shark is launching tomorrow, June 2nd. In classic Devolver Digital fashion, this is a game that seems to defy genre yet again. Elliot has a full review incoming but the basic gist appears to be: you traipse about 18th century card tables using all manner of deceit and trickeration to swindle your way to the top of the card playing world. The core mechanic seems not to be playing cards so much as cheating at them, without getting caught. If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'. I'm intrigued.
Card Shark releases on both PC and Nintendo Switch tomorrow.
