Well this sucks.
The next batch of DLC for WWE 2K22 releases on June 7th and was supposed to include The Hurricane, Stacey Keibler, A-Kid, Wes Lee and Nash Carter. Unfortunately Nash Carter has since been released from the WWE and thus is also being removed from the upcoming DLC pack. Instead we will be getting a Booker T EVO card and a Seth Rollins Emerald card for My Faction. Below is the official statement from 2K courtesy of sportsgameronline.
With 2K’s commitment to providing the most authentic representation of the WWE universe, the Stand Back Pack has been updated to reflect the current WWE roster. WWE 2K22 DLC packs provide the community with engaging and valuable content post launch to ensure there is always something new to discover in the ring. To deliver on that promise, the new update to the Stand Back Pack now includes Booker T EVO and Seth Rollins Emerald MyFACTION cards as bonus content in addition to The Hurricane, Stacey Keibler, A-Kid, and Wes Lee.
Needless to say the community isn't happy. Cards for the microtransaction fest that is My Faction is not exactly a suitable replacement for a whole wrestler that the community paid for getting removed.
I get that they can't add another wrestler this close to release but come on, they could have at least done something like say "we will add this wrestler later in the year to make up for it" or take one of the veteran wrestlers in the game and add an earlier version of them like Brood Edge or D-Generation X Triple H. Something, anything except My Faction cards.
