I feel like I've been hearing about Hardspace: Shipbreaker for years, which is probably because I in fact have been with the way Randy's mentioned it in the GN Slack over time. His preview of the game is coming up on it's two-year anniversary with other articles like 10 things you wish you knew having been posted even before that.
But after all this time, we've finally arrived at the point where Hardspace: Shipbreaker is set to leave Early Access and become a real boy game. The big day? May 24th for the PC release. There is also a preview next week at the Focus Entertainment booth (#12043) at PAX East if you're in the Boston area. Console releases are in development but details on those timelines, or even definitively which consoles aren't exactly clear at this point.
So if you're ready for some blue-collar deep space salvage action, then Hardsapce: Shipbreaker just might be that game you never knew you needed in your life. The game release includes the campaign mode, daily challenges with leaderboards, and a free play mode just to decompress by smashing some ships if you need that sweet release. Hardspace: Shipbreaker will be available on release via Steam or PC Games Pass.
