I just love stuff like this. Supermassive Games and 2K have teamed up to deliver a podcast series that fills in some of the backstory for the upcoming teen-horror title The Quarry.

Murphy, Bizarre Yet Bonafide is a fictitious paranormal investigation podcast that digs into the creepy stuff that has been happening in North Kill, NY, the setting of The Quarry. Episode 2 - The Boy Who Cried Bigfoot just dropped today, and it does a little deeper on the mystery of the woman in the woods. It's not up on YouTube yet, but you can catch it at the 2k website here. This one goes places. Something about a Bigfoot getting down with cows.
Sure, its a little corny, but its fun, and seven minutes is a very short time commitment to pick up some of the story threads from the upcoming game. As someone that is really looking forward to The Quarry, I'm totally digging this. Supermassive really goes the full nine on developing their horror worlds, so this is a fun way to pick up some insights before The Quarry releases on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on June 10.
