Full roster for WWE 2K22 revealed

So one of the biggest questions we have had with WWE 2K22 was finally answered. What is the roster going to be like? The reason for this is 2K skipped 2K21 so we have been waiting over two years for this game. Within that time, the WWE has released over 100+ wrestlers. A lot of which were released within the past 6 months. Well 2K posted the full roster today and yeah a lot of released wrestlers are still in the game.

While not 2K's fault, it's looking like this game is going to have an incredibly outdated roster with a large portion of it no longer working for WWE. A big example would be that Mia Yim, who has been released is on the roster twice. First as herself as Mia Yim and then again as "Reckoning" when we was with the group Retribution. That group disbanded in March 2021 yet Mace, T-Bar, Reckoning and Slapjack all appear in the game. Some other examples would be Braun Strowman, Keith Lee, Tegan Nox, John Morrison, and The IIconics.

Now this isn't a complain from me, this is a great thing because a lot of these wrestlers are awesome it's such a shame how WWE just dumped a huge portion of their roster during a global pandemic.

There are also some weird omissions of people who should be in the game and are not. Kurt Angle, Lita, The Bella Twins, Alundra Blaze along with current roster stars like Omos, Madcap Moss and Doudrop aren't here either. Though I assume some of them may show up as DLC.

Operation Sports posted a great video showcasing the roster which you can view below.

WWE 2K22 launches on March 11th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X and PC.
