2K released a new WWE 2K22 trailer today highlighting the long awaited return of GM mode with My GM.
You'll be able to play as Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, or your own custom GM with create a wrestler mode. You will have to draft wrestlers, set up shows and manage your budgets on your way to beating the other shows by increasing your ratings.
One interesting part of the trailer is in the free agent section it looks like there are a number of generic non WWE wrestlers there. I'm wondering if these are CAWs that 2K made themselves, or if they are pre-made wrestlers that will be included in the mode.
This is a mode that wrestling game fans have been begging for both THQ and 2K to bring back for literally over a decade. The last time a GM mode was included in a WWE game was Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. From what I have seen so far, It's looking like its going to be a ton of fun and this is going to be one of the first things I jump into as soon as I get the game.
WWE 2K22 releases on March 11th 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X and PC.
