2K has started a new series today called the "Ringside Report" which will go in depth into what WWE 2K22 has to offer and today we got our first look at the gameplay with a full match between Rey Mysterio and Damien Priest.
First off the graphics look incredible this year and the one thing I am loving are all the new camera angles which give the game a whole new style of presentation.
We got an in depth look at a full match including all of the new mechanics and it seems that this game will play almost like a fighting game with how fast and back and forth the match looks like its playing. We also got new details like how reversal limits are removed and you now have to counter your opponents attacks like Killer Instinct's combo breaker system where you have to guess if they used a light, medium or strong attack.
So far so good. I am cautiously optimistic about WWE 2K22 but the more I see, the more it's looking like 2K will redeem themselves for the disaster that was WWE 2K20.
WWE 2K22 releases March 11th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X and PC.
