With Back 4 Blood's recent arrival on Xbox Game Pass, Gaming Nexus immediately began planning some play sessions. So last night, Games N Moorer's Joseph Moorer hosted myself, John Yan, and Scott Taft on his stream for some zombie-bashing action.
It took us a while to get all of the sound issues configured, as we were on three different platforms (John and I was playing on PC, Joseph was on a Series S, and Scott was on an Xbox One). But once we got it together, everything worked like a charm, and we were able to play through several levels of the game - though not always in the first go. Even on the lowest difficulty, Back 4 Blood presents a pretty stiff challenge, requiring teamwork and coordination.
GN's Henry Yu is currently reviewing Back 4 Blood, so keep an eye out for that early next week. In the meantime, I expect that a rotating cast of Gaming Nexus folks will likely continue forward with the (surprisingly big) game. There's a ton of bloody, skull-bashing content here, and it'll take quite a while to battle our way through it all.
