The highly anticipated Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is right around the corner with the saga slated to release on May 14, 2021. Before that date, EA has revealed how the collection will run on all the console versions.
Notably, the Series X version will run up to 120fps in the prioritise framerate mode, whereas the PS5 version is limited to 60fps in the same mode. Both next-gen versions will run at 4K resolution at up to 60fps in the quality mode. PC players will have both beat thanks to 240fps and 240Hz support.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes single-player base content and over 40 DLC from the highly acclaimed Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 games, including promo weapons, armors, and packs — remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be playable and enhanced on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms via backward compatibility.
