I love spending time in games that combine world exploration, farming, and quests, so I'm pretty interested in Chibig's new Deiland: Pocket Edition. Deiland takes one of my favorite gaming loops and transfers it to a Mario Galaxy-style planet, allowing the player to spin the world while they explore, craft, and fight monsters.
This unique approach to the genre looks to put a fresh spin on the comforting gameplay that players look for in games like this. Players will be able to customize their planet with a variety of decorative and functional objects, and experience a season mechanic unique to this version of the game. Deiland: Pocket Planet takes place in the same universe as Summer in Mara, so fans of that game will enjoy seeing characters cross over into Deiland.
Deiland: Pocket Planet is available today digitally on the Nintendo eShop at 15% off - $16.99. The price will increase to its full price of $19.99 USD on April 21st, 2021.
