Yeah, I know that we normally don't cover YouTube shows on Gaming Nexus, but this one seemed relevant enough to stretch a little. Alpha Betas, the new adult animation show from 3BLACKDOT and Starburns Industries (Rick & Morty), has a primary cast made up of YouTube streamers. Yes, the streamers are acting, and yes, the trailer is pretty decent.
The folks making up the cast are VanossGaming (Evan Fong), BasicallyIDoWrk (Marcel Cunningham), I AM WILDCAT (Tyler Wine) and Terroriser (Brian Hanby), with a little bit of professional help from Paget Brewster (Friends), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Chris Parnell (SNL), Brent Morin (Chelsea Lately) and John DiMaggio (Futurama). They had me at Chris Parnell.
Alpha Betas will premier on VanossGaming’s YouTube channel on March 13, 2021.
