I'm always cruising the PlayStation Store, looking at upcoming games and dreaming of the future. One of the games that I've had my eye on is Hood: Outlaws & Legends from Focus Entertainment. I often enjoy Focus games, and the fact that this one looks like a full-featured AAA game, but is going to retail for only $29.99 puts it towards the top of my anticipated games list.
The game itself sounds like a medieval version of Payday. From Hood: Outlaws & Legends' PlayStation Store page: "Two teams of 4 players compete to execute the perfect heist, in medieval environments patrolled by deadly AI guards. With the unique skills and mystical abilities of each character, moving in stealth to steal treasures unseen or dominating through loud and brutal combat."
At this lower-than-usual price-point, Hood sounds like a sure bet to pick up with a few buddies for some multiplayer fun. Interestingly, for $20 more, you can also snag an entire year's worth of battle passes. The Year 1 Edition includes three seasons worth of battle passes. No word on how much those would cost if purchased individually, but one can assume that it would be more than twenty bucks.
Hood:Outlaws and Legends is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4 and Playstation 5 on May 10. Preorder now for three days early access to start playing on May 7.
