I've been having a lot of fun with Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood. Sure, the production values on the game aren't super high, but if you can get onto Werewolf's B-movie wavelength, there's a lot of enjoyment to be had just sneaking around and killing dudes (or just barging right in and killing dudes, which is really more my speed).
I spent the evening of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood's release playing a few mid-game missions, running around and making a lot of inappropriate Cypress Hill jokes. What can I say? I was in a B-Real sort of mood. But the point is, if you can put yourself in the right mindframe, Werewolf is a raging fun time, like watching a late-night HBO science-fiction film staring Rutger Hauer with your buddies. You know, sometimes you are in the mood for The Godfather, but sometimes you just want to veg out and cackle at The Blood of Heroes. When you are in that mood, Werewolf is the game for you.
If you aren't into checking out the dialogue scenes, the action picks up around the 22-minute mark.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
