EA announced today that the Need for Speed franchise would be taking a different path with the latest sequel, Need for Speed ProStreet. The focus will be on head-to-head street races in many different racing showdowns along with personalization of the vehicles to affect performance and appearance. Need for Speed ProStreet is being developed by EA Black Box for a fall release on the Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PS3, DS, PC and mobile. Full details after the jump:
