The hallmark of a good video game remake is that when looking at it, you think "Oh, that's just the way I remember it." Then you go back and look at the original and see that it looks like hot garbage compared to the shiny new version. Case in point: check out this new trailer for the upcoming THQ Nordic remake of Destroy All Humans!:

Looks pretty perfect, right? Now, if you are feeling saucy, take a second and scrub through a bit of this original gameplay from the PS2:

It looks like THQ Nordic have put a bit of work into this thing. Destroy All Humans! Remake will release on July 28 on PC for $29.99, and PS4 and Xbox One for $39.99 (hey!). There are also a few collectors editions for lunatics that want to spend $400 on Destroy all Humans!:

The Crypto-137 Edition, featuring a Crypto-137 figurine, a Crypto backpack, keychain, six lithographs, anti-stress toy and all in-game Crypto skins, all contained within a premium box, is available for pre-order now and has an SRP of €399.99 | $399.99 | £349.99 | seven tons of mutilated cow corpse juice’s worth of Crypto currency.
