Last Oasis hits Steam Early Access in two weeks, March 26. This one is a "Nomadic Survival MMO." And I challenge you to find a duplicate premise for this game anywhere:
Earth has stopped rotating, and the last human survivors need to outrun the scorching Sun in a massive open world.
I mean, c'mon. That's a pretty sweet setup. Plus, what you don't see in this trailer, are the walkers: mobile bases that can be adapted for travel, transportation, harvesting, and combat. You'll be joining clans and fighting for territory PvP-style, snatching up the quickly depleting resources. Scavenging, pirating, and trading are the course du jour.
Sounds like an incredible time—that i will only watch from a distance. I'm not even going to try and compete with you competitors. You've got to have a very aggressive playstyle in order to get the most out of games like this, or you end up just being farmed—you're sheep for the slaughter. And I'm personally not interested, but again, the Mad-Max-with-moving-sculptures premise looks incredible and I've just got to see this stuff in motion.
