More On:

With the announcement of two new video cards coming from NVIDIA today, there are new Game Ready Drivers out for you to download if you own a NVIDIA card. Version 441.08 is here and with it comes support for the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER that you can pick up today.

Not only that, but more G-SYNC compatible monitors have been added. Seven new monitors from Acer, AOC, ASUS, Dell,  Lenovo have been certified to be G-SYNC compatible bringing the list to over 50 monitors. So for those who would rather get a Freesync monitor to use for G-SYNC, you have a few more to choose from.

And as always, some more general performance improvements have been implemented for the driver update. Grab it now via GeForce Experience.

NVIDIA’s Game Ready Drivers are recognized as delivering a robust, reliable gaming experience to hundreds of AAA games. With this latest Game Ready Driver, NVIDIA has integrated an improved image-sharpening filter in the NVIDIA Control Panel for even faster performance and support for all DirectX 9, 11 and 12 games. It has adjustable sharpening sliders and offers a per-game profile, so gamers can custom tailor the level of sharpness for each of their favorite games

The NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency (NULL) mode has been enhanced with support for G-SYNC variable rate technology support, so gamers can enjoy the tear-free visuals provided by G-SYNC, along with the benefit of quick response time that lower latency provides in games. Gamers no longer have to choose between a responsive or tear-free gaming experience — with the latest Game Ready Drivers and a G-SYNC display, they can have both.

ReShade Filters Come to GeForce Experience

With over 3 million downloads last year, ReShade benefits from a vibrant modding community that creates amazing post-processing shaders for PC gaming. With this latest Game Ready Driver and GeForce Experience update, GeForce gamers can tap into hundreds of ReShade filters and easily apply them in their favorite games using Freestyle or Ansel.

G-SYNC Compatible List Continues to Grow

The G-SYNC Compatible program expands the G-SYNC ecosystem and brings consistency and educates consumers on which displays will provide a good entry-level variable refresh rate (VRR) experience.

This new driver adds 7 monitors to the list of over 50 G-SYNC Compatible Displays, including:

  • Acer CG437K P
  • Acer VG272U P
  • Acer VG272X
  • AOC 27G2G4
  • ASUS XG279Q
  • Dell AW2720HF
  • Lenovo Y27Q-20

Under the G-SYNC Compatible program, NVIDIA works with monitor OEMs to validate the experience on monitors that support the AdaptiveSync protocol. Those that pass are designated as “G-SYNC Compatible”.  For a full listing of G-SYNC Compatible displays, please click here
