Hellgate: London has been
revealed and in my opinion there are some little bits that really bug me. For one, only people who pay get access additional game modes such as Hardcore. So, unless you pay the fee, you can't play the game on a really difficult setting? Costs also depend on where you live. The $10 montly fee is reminicent of an MMO and you're paying the price for a non-MMO. Flagship Studios say that the fee will help them make additional content for the game atleast two times a month. I do find it a little hard to see any studio releasing anything substantial once a few months let alone twice a month or more. I have a feeling we're going to see some horse armor months with this game thus garnering the wrath of the subscribers. Call me pessimistic on this one.
