If you haven't watched Summer Games Done Quick, you miss out on some gamers with immense skill and dedication as well as an event that benefits a great charity in Doctors without Borders. They just finished their summer block of fast gaming and raised over $3,000,000 for a great cause. That's the most GDQ has ever made as well as the fastest to ever hit $1 million. It's almost $1 million more than they did last year.
Summer Games Done Quick is one of my favorite times of the year to see how some folks run through some of my favorite games. The event goes through a gamut of old classic games to current titles. To see how they finish RPGs that should take weeks in a span of a few hours or less is amazing.
You can see a bunch of highlights and full runs on their Youtube or Twitch channel. Great job to everyone who donated and I can't wait for the next Games Done Quick event January 5th through the 12th in Orlando, Florida.
