More On: Dr. Mario World

Nintendo has been putting out a some mobile games over the past few years such as Super Mario Run, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Fire Emblem Heroes, not to mention several Pokemon games. While Dr. Mario World was announced a while back for mobile devices, we now have a launch date and a trailer to go along with it. In Dr. Mario World you'll move capsules rising from the bottom of the screen and line them up with same-colored viruses to match three in a row (different from the standard four in a row in the main games). Tapping a capsule will rotate it and you'll have a limited number of capsules to use to clear a stage. The better you do, the more stars you'll receive. You'll also have some new items on the play field such as turtle shells that will ricochet across the screen and clear out any viruses in its path, and bombs that will take out anything in squares adjacent to it.

For more info, check out the launch trailer below. You can also head over to https://drmario-world.com to pre-register (or you should be able to pre-register on your phone as i just did via the Google Play store). You also won't have to wait too long as Dr. Mario World launches next month on iOS and Android on July 10th.
