Today at Star Wars Celebration, Respawn had a panel debuting the first look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. When Emperor Palpatine initiated Order 66, most of the Jedi fell. But a few survived and Cal Kestis is one of them.
You play Cal as he tries to keep one step ahead of the Empire and the Inquisitors. You'll develop force powers and fight with your trusty lightsaber. Taking place after Episode III, Fallen Order looks to bring back the great gameplay and story of past Jedi games.
Respawn is touting this as a single player game with no DLC, no microtransactions, and no multiplayer. People have been clamoring for some good single player games and here's one that might fit the bill so let's hope Respawn has churned out a winner here as the past few Star Wars games has been tepid at best.
The trailer focuses on the story elements so no gameplay was shown as Respawn really wanted to emphasis this part of the game in their panel. Hopefully, we'll be able to catch some gameplay for Fallen Order sometime soon.
11-15-2019 is the release date and the title will be out on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
