EDF games are what they are: low rent, campy, and a lot of fun. They're a great way to blow off steam with some madcap bug hunting. The latest iteration, however, is coming in under a new developer. With Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain, Sandlot has given way and Yuke's has taken the reigns to try and produce a slightly better looking and more serious outing. But as the trailer shows below, the core and the camp of the game are not going to be squashed entirely. Save the squashing for the bugs.
