Surprise! Nintendo has announced that a Pokemon-centric Nintendo Direct will take place tomorrow, February 27th, at 6a.m. PT/9a.m. ET. There are literally no other hints or information provided, but now that Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Evee are out and selling like hotcakes, I would imagine this is about the main series Pokemon RPG slated to launch on Switch.
Personally I'm pretty happy that Pokemon is getting its own mini-direct. I'm fairly lukewarm on the series at the best of times, and I get a little annoyed when the inevitable Next Pokemon Game eats up a bunch of time in other Nintendo Directs or the annual E3 presentation.
