After appearing on Kickstarter a while ago, and then hearing not much of it since then, the long awaited Last Year: The Nightmare is available now. The game is exclusive to the Discord store and will cost $29.99
Last Year: The Nightmare is a 5v1 asymmetrical horror game where five Survivors have to work together to complete objectives and escape the sixth player who is the Killer.
After playing for a few hours, I am really enjoying the game as it reminds me a lot of Left 4 Dead's vs. mode. Unlike Friday the 13th or Dead by Daylight, Survivors don't have a single life. If the Killer kills a Survivor, they can respawn after a little bit, so it becomes a game of the Killer trying to take out all of the Survivors before they can respawn.
The game will also receive numerous content updates throughout 2019 including new maps, Killers, Survivors and game modes.
