More On: Mortal Kombat 11

It's happening... it's finally happening.

After the Mortal Kombat kommunity was completely heartbroken at E3 with no Mortal Kombat, reveal we have all been wondering when the next entry in the beloved fighting game franchise would be announced.

After months and months of total silence we finally have our answer and it's coming sooner than we think. NRS announced a brand new Mortal Kombat game at the Game Awards and the official title is Mortal Kombat 11, and its coming out April 23rd 2019.

The trailer shows Raiden fighting Scorpion. This time it seems like Scorpion is getting whats coming to him as he is finally killed off in a trailer despite Scorpion doing all the killing in the trailers for MK9 and MKX. But wait, whats this? Another Scorpion shows up and kills Raiden. That's certainly interesting. I wonder if the variation system this time around will have us choosing to play a previous version of said character. That's just speculation on my part but we will find out on January 17th as there will be a community reveal event.

Pre-ordering the game will also get you access to play as Shao Khan and beta access.

Check out the reveal trailer below.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches globally on April 23rd 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch
