NYKO announces new Nintendo Switch accessories

NYKO has long been the gaming accessory maker that likes to introduce gear that corrects problems that first party companies are unable, or unwilling to do when they introduce new consoles.  Today, they introduced a whole bunch of Nintendo Switch accessories that will becoming available shortly via Amazon.  I would expect these to be on display at CES in January, so ideally we will be able to get a hands on with them before they are released.  Until then, here is the list, provided by NYKO of their new gear:

 

Dualies

Dualies are a motion controller set, the first 3rd party Joy-Con alternative and are perfect for adding additional players to a multiplayer experience. They feature accurate, multi-functional motion control and rumble feedback to provide immersive gameplay and are, compatible with most titles on the Switch. The larger, more rounded edges allow for an improved grip, especially while playing sideways, giving more comfort and improved ergonomics. Included is a Type-C cable with a 56K oHm resistor to recharge Dualies quickly and safely anywhere. The cable can also be used to safely recharge the Switch. Detachable thumb caps, also included, will customize the input precision by fine tuning the sticks length and size. Dualies will be available this holiday for an MSRP of $49.99 and are now available for pre order on Amazon.com.


Charge Base Plus

Charge Base Plus is a charging dock and carrying case kit for the Poke Ball™ Plus. Powered by the included Type-C USB cable, the dock allows the Poke Ball Plus to be stored and charged while not in use. The Poke Ball Plus can be transported around easily with the included carrying case which provides increased protection on the go. Charge Base Plus will be available this holiday for an MSRP of $14.99 and are now available for pre-order at Amazon.com.

 

Retro Controller Hub

Retro Controller Hub for Switch is a 4-port hub that enables the use of classic GameCube® controllers on Nintendo Switch. Powered by the USB port on the Switch dock, the Retro Controller Hub for Switch provides four GameCube controller ports to play competitive and local multiplayer games. Retro Controller Hub for Switch will be available later this year for an MSRP of $14.99 and are now available for pre-order at Amazon.com.


Retro Controller Adapter

Retro Controller Adapter for Switch is a single-port adapter that enables the use of a classic GameCube® controller on Nintendo Switch. Powered by a USB port on the Switch dock, the Retro Controller Adapter for Switch provides a single GameCube controller port to play competitive and local multiplayer games. Retro Controller Adapter for Switch will be available later this year for an MSRP of $9.99 and are now available for pre-order at Amazon.com.


Wireless Core Controller

Nyko’s Wireless Core Controller is now available in fun new colors including Clear, Red, Blue, Purple, and Green. All colors of Wireless Core Controller will be available for an MSRP of $29.99 and will soon be available on Amazon.com.
