Celebrate 25 years of Magic in LA this weekend

If you aren’t a fan of the fantastic and original trading card game, then you probably aren’t aware that this year marks the 25th anniversary of Magic: the Gathering. It is hard to believe that planeswalkers all across the plant have been slinging spells in one way or another for a quarter of a century! While Wizards of the Coast has done several things this year to mark the occasion, one of the coolest just happens to be happening this weekend.

Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles is currently running  a weekend long  art show in conjunction with Wizards. The show only runs through November 4 and highlights some of the most prolific art and imagery throughout the history of Magic. I have to admit, I think it would be amazing to see all of this stuff in person, but unfortunately that is all the way on the other side of the country for me. Thankfully, the gallery can be viewed online, and you can even purchase items from the collection online!
