Mysterious Trickster VR arrives on PS VR on 09/14

More On: Trickster VR

While scanning through the list of new releases for PlayStation this week, I stumbled across Trickster VR, a first-person co-op RPG dungeon crawler developed by Trickster Games. I excitedly jumped online to research the game further, and found...not a whole lot. I could not locate a website for Trickster Games. I could not find any online reviews for the game (outside of the Steam Page). The only trailer seems to be this one minute clip of gameplay (with - no kidding - zero views):

But...but...

Steam users seem to really love this game for Oculus and Vive. Trickster VR currently has a "Very Positive" rating from 281 reviewers, which is a not-too-shabby showing for a VR title. The game has 25 update patches, so it is clear that someone out there is paying attention to the game. Featuring 4-player co-op, Trickster seems to have found a nice little community on Steam, which is intriguing.

"One of the most underrated dungeon crawlers out there," says Tim Chaos the Bus Driver.

"Hella dope Weapons with equally Hella dope Abilities," reports Steam user Like, Zoinks, Scoob!

"Graphics are good , it's like being inside Gauntlet for the N64," says t3hguru.

If it is good enough for Tim Chaos the Bus Driver, its good enough for me. No word on pricing yet for PlayStation VR, but Trickster VR is currently $12.99 on Steam, which usually puts us in the $20.00 range on PlayStation. I would recommend picking up more than one copy of the game if you want to play co-op with buddies, as the entire PS VR community is currently locked down in Firewall: Zero Hour, so you might not find any randoms online to play with. As with most PS VR games, you will probably have to make your own community.
