One of the coolest gaming peripherals ever was announced back in May when Microsoft revealed that they were working on an adaptive controller for Xbox that was geared toward those with special needs. Slated to go on sale in "Fall '18", the Microsoft Xbox Adaptive Controller exceeded expectations by a few weeks, as it was announced this morning that it is available today at either the Microsoft Store or GameStop for the previously announced $99 price.
As stated by both John and myself, this is one of the most innovative peripherals released in a long time and opens up gaming to many folks that have struggled to have that enjoyment in the past. Kudos to Microsoft and good luck to all the new folks that will be joining us online.
