After being gone for two games, Showcase mode returns in WWE 2K19 and will focus on the WWE career of Daniel Bryan. For those unfamiliar, Showcase Mode is a single player campaign that lets you play through and relive memorable moments from WWE history. Previous Showcase Mode's include Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, . Technically it doesn't fall under the 2K Showcase banner but the Attitude Era mode from WWE '13 and the 30 Years of Wrestle Mania mode from WWE 2K14 were pretty much the same thing.
Players will get to play 11 matches from Daniel Bryan's WWE career including his match on Velocity in 2002 with John Cena, his Tag Team Championship match with Kane from Night of Champions 2012 and his matches against Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista from Wrestle Mania 30. The mode will also include a "surprise" match which will be announced at a later date.
Showcase Mode doesn't feature just normal matches. These are special matches which feature cutscenes and will also include special objectives to complete. Completing these objectives will unlock special attires, arenas, Wrestlers and more.
Showcase Mode will also feature 11 different Daniel Bryan attires, multiple arenas and newly filmed interviews with Daniel Bryan himself.
WWE 2K19 launches on October 5th 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
