ATLUS announces Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita!

More On: Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection

Really, y'all, what goes on in the Persona Dancing games? Is it just the characters from the beloved Persona RPG games, you know, dancing? Can someone fill me in a little bit?

Regardless, it is clear that these games have found an audience, because ATLUS USA announced this morning that they will be releasing every title in the series all bundled together in the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection, available in the Americas and Europe on December 4th, 2018.

The bundle will include a complete catalog of Persona Dancing games, “including the all-new Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, as well as a digital download for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, all wrapped up in an exclusive hardcover artbook package!”

Vita fans might be a little disappointed at the lack of a physical release, but the good news is that the entire bundle will be available digitally on Vita. The pricing gets a little wonky with different prices for the bundle and the individual titles (the bundle is definitely the best deal), so rather than try to sort it all out, I’m just going to post this from the press release:

“The Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection will be available for $69.99 | $99.99 (PS Vita | PS4) on December 4, 2018. Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight will be available standalone for $39.99 | $59.99 each (PS Vita | PS4). Physical pre-orders for each of the individual games and the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection are now available at https://atlus.com/personadancing/.”

So, if you read between the lines there, you will notice that Persona 4: Dancing All Night is only available as part of the bundle, and will not be available physically at all.

Some features of the all new titles:

Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight features include:
  • Memorable Soundtrack - Return to the worlds of Persona 3 and Persona 5 and relive cherished memories with the games' most memorable songs by Shoji Meguro, composed by Ryota Kozuka, as well as all-new remixes by ATOLS, Lotus Juice, ?Taku Takahashi (m-flo / block.fm), Jazztronik, and more! Unlock a total of 25 fan-favorite tracks in each game.
  • Dancing! - Choose from several difficulty levels and dance alongside the members of SEES and the legendary Phantom Thieves in a customizable rhythm game experience. Characters can tear up the dance floor with a partner by performing well during a song and entering "Fever" mode; try out some of your favorite character combinations!
  • English and Japanese Voiceovers - Choose to listen to your favorite characters' voices in either English or Japanese with dual audio options! English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles are also available.
  • Social - In "Social," players can connect with their favorite characters and deepen their social bonds through conversations and mini-events. Fulfill character-specific conditions to unlock special events and unlock new items.
  • Collect Costumes - Collect and equip a variety of costumes and accessories to create an even flashier dance experience.

For Persona fans, this is a major announcement. More details to be posted as they become available. I expect we will see a trailer pretty soon here, but in the meantime, check out that website. Not a lot of info on it yet, but the layout is colorful and fun.
