This week, HyperX announced a new addition to their line of gaming mice: the Pulsefire FPS Pro. The new mouse, which is now available for purchase, nestles itself right in between the Pulsefire FPS and the Pulsefire Surge.
The FPS Pro features a Pixart 3389 sensor and supports native DPI up to 16,000. It also has customization RGB lighting and can store up to three profiles in its onboard memory. Both the RGB and the profile storage are able to be customized through HyperX's NGenuity software. Last and certainly not least, the mouse weighs in at 95g, going up to 130g with the cable, which is pretty light as far as gaming mice go.
The FPS Pro retails at $59.99, $10 over the Pulsefire FPS and the $10 under the Pulsefire Surge.
In comparison to the other HyperX mice, the FPS Pro seems to serve as a big brother to the original HyperX Pulsefire FPS. For those looking for a solid mouse with some more bells and whistles (like RGB and customizable DPI), this is a solid improvement to it's little brother for a minimal increase in price. Compared to the Pulsefire Surge, the FPS Pro is very similar on its technical specifications, so those who don't find as much value in customizing each LED will be able to save a couple bucks.
