Hopalong: The Badlands gallops onto PlayStation VR on July 17th

Hopalong: The Badlands, the colorful and cartoonish Western VR shooter - developed by From the Future - is finally coming to PS VR on Tuesday, July 17th.

Touting its unique locomotion, Hopalong has one glowing review on Steam after another. From what I can tell, players hold a controller in each hand. One hand is used to “waggle” their stick-horse, while the other is used to blast bad guys with whatever weapon is currently in hand.

Some features from the press release:

I hope to have a preview of Hopalong: The Badlands up on Gaming Nexus this week some time. In the meantime, Oculus and HTC Rift players with a hankerin' for some comedic Western shooting can pick up the game right now from Steam for $14.99.
