We've got a road map. Kingdom Come: Deliverance [GN score: 9 out of 10], which launched only a few months ago (if you can believe it, in this busy, excellent year of video gaming), lays out the year's DLC plans for the medieval realism RPG. Some of the DLC is free. Dates aren't nailed down yet, but Warhorse Studios says the Hardcore Mode—one of the freebies—should be out by summer; that could be as soon as four weeks away.
Jesus Christ be praised—your journey is not yet over! Rebuild what was destroyed, equip your Cupid's arrow and aid a friend in "delicate" matters, stand your ground on the battlefield, and see things from a whole new perspective. Bohemia awaits you yet again, young Knight!
Here's the general order in which we can expect to see things arriving in 2018 and early 2019:
Time for me to dust off my spurs and sharpen the ol' long sword. I don't see any other RPGs—certainly not a more original RPG—dethroning this one anytime soon for me, personally.
