Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Cybernetic Walrus announced this week that their anti-gravity racing game Antigraviator (see what they did there with the name?) will release for PC on June 6 through Steam, with the PlayStation® 4 and Xbox® One release coming later this year.
Inspired in their creation by F-Zero and Wipeout, the development team set out to “create the fastest racing arcade game to date”. While the press release contains the words “No Speed Limit!” at least 3 times, we will all have to wait until June 6th to find out what that really means. Aside from that, Antigraviator looks like a beautiful sci-fi racer, with power ups and traps that players can use to overcome their opponents. Ships can be customized in order to give players an edge on 12 unique courses.
“We know that PC gamers have been looking forward to playing our game and its greatest asset: no speed limit. In addition, we’re working hard on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and thank console gamers for their patience,” says Mike Coeck, CEO of Cybernetic Walrus.
Antigraviator is available to wishlist on Steam right now, and console fans can keep up with developments by subscribing to the official Antigraviator website here.
